About me

I code for fun. Here's my Github profile.

I organize HackPDX.

As a Twilio Hero, I'm learning what it means to be a developer evangelist.

In the past...

I spent my summer interning on the engineering team at Cloudability.

I mentored and served as the lead backend engineer on a new project with HackOregon and the Pacific Northwest College of Arts

I built and maintain various open source libraries including the Cloudability Ruby Gem, the Feedbin Gem, Cumulus, and Relic.

I worked with friends on multiple open source side projects including The List, CommitPhotos, and Hackalone.

I helped organize CodeDay Portland, a 24 hour hackathon for high school and college students.

I co-founded my high school's first ever programming club.

I helped out with Startup Camp, a Startup Weekend type event for Portland area high school students.

If you want to hear what I have to say, you should read my blog over at Svbtle.

Lastly, if you're in Portland or are planning on visiting sometime soon, I'd love to chat with you. Shoot me an email.
